Yale Scholarship
The Yale grant can range in value from a few hundred dollars to over $70,000 annually; the typical need-based grant at Yale is around $50,000.
Entitlement grants
Yale does not give merit-based scholarships, yet Yale students frequently get recognised for them by outside organisations. Merit scholarship requirements are closely related to a student's accomplishments in their chosen academic, athletic, musical, or extracurricular activities.
Merit-based scholarships
The federal government, state authorities, or other organizations that are not connected to Yale may give out entitlement grants. Federal need, place of residence (city or state), or employment status are the requirements for entitlements. Although an entitlement grant may include a merit component, the resource is typically seen as an entitlement if the student would not receive it without a need.
