A research grant of EUR 1,000 is accessible, applicable for a duration of up to twelve (12) months exclusively. This grant aims to address expenses related to field work, including travel, primary data collection, and the procurement of software licenses for data analysis, subject to the presentation of valid receipts.

The University of Malta aims to draw exceptional students from non-European Union/EEA countries by providing tuition fee waivers ranging from 40 to 100 percent, granted to highly deserving candidates. Please note that specific programs may still involve bench fees. This fee waiver covers the regular program duration, and while extensions to the study period might be needed, they might not always qualify for the fee waiver.
