Australian Government RTP Scholarships

UWA scholarships and awards are given to encourage academic performance in our community and to promote equity and access for all students. Indigenous students are urged to submit applications for the many scholarships offered across a wide range of fields.

Research scholarships

The Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Fees Offset Scholarship at UWA is currently valued at roughly $33,500 per year, however, it may alter in the future.

Global Excellence Scholarship

Undergraduate students can earn scholarships of up to AUD$48,000* over 4 years on qualifying programs or AUD$36,000* over 3 years, and postgraduate students can receive up to AUD$24,000* over two years on suitable courses if they wish to study in Australia in 2024.
